Description

Indulge in the rich, creamy textures of Mango Kulfi, a delightful Indian dessert that captures the essence of summer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup mango pulp (high-quality)
  • 4 pods cardamom (crushed)
  • 1/4 cup chopped pistachios

Instructions

  1. Begin by crushing the cardamom pods using a mortar and pestle. Once crushed, remove and discard the husk, keeping the flavorful seeds.
  2. Break the pistachios into small pieces and set them aside for mixing later.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the heavy whipping cream, sweetened condensed milk, and mango pulp. Stir until smooth.
  4. Gently fold the crushed cardamom and chopped pistachios into the mixture, ensuring everything is well combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into kulfi molds or a rectangular metal tin. Cover tightly with foil and freeze overnight.

Notes

  • Let the kulfi sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving for easier removal from molds.
  • Garnish with additional pistachios before serving for extra crunch.
