Description
A quick and elegant Lobster Ravioli with Creamy Garlic Sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions. This dish features tender ravioli enveloped in a rich, velvety garlic cream sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound lobster ravioli (fresh or frozen)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the lobster ravioli and cook according to package directions until they float (usually 3-5 minutes for fresh, longer for frozen). Reserve about 1/2 cup of the pasta water before draining the ravioli.
- While the ravioli cooks, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Pour the heavy cream into the skillet with the garlic. Bring to a gentle simmer, then stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Stir in the lemon juice. Season the creamy garlic sauce with salt and pepper to taste. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of the reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency.
- Gently add the drained lobster ravioli to the skillet with the creamy garlic sauce. Toss to coat the ravioli evenly. Heat for 1-2 minutes more, allowing the ravioli to warm through in the sauce.
- Serve the Lobster Ravioli with Creamy Garlic Sauce immediately. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
Notes
- Always taste and adjust seasoning for the creamy garlic sauce.
- Do not overcook the ravioli; aim for tender but firm.
- Fresh ingredients yield the best flavor for this lobster ravioli dish.
- Consider adding sautéed spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor.
- For a lighter sauce, substitute half the heavy cream with chicken or vegetable broth.
