Description

Baked Boursin Salmon is a quick and flavorful dish perfect for any occasion. This recipe features tender salmon fillets topped with a creamy, herb-infused Boursin cheese mixture, baked to perfection.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (56 ounces each)
  • 1 Boursin cheese round (5.2 oz), garlic & fine herbs flavor preferred
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional garnish)
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together Boursin cheese, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, and half of the olive oil or melted butter until smooth.
  4. Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Drizzle the remaining olive oil over the fillets and season with salt and black pepper.
  5. Place the salmon fillets in the prepared baking dish. Spoon the Boursin cheese mixture evenly over each fillet.
  6. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with fresh lemon wedges.

Notes

  • Ensure salmon reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) for safe consumption.
  • Do not overcook the salmon to prevent it from becoming dry.
  • Let the salmon rest for 2 minutes before serving to retain moisture.
  • Experiment with different Boursin flavors or add other herbs like dill or thyme.
