- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (Almond extract can be used for a different flavor.)
- 1 cup chocolate chips (Opt for dairy-free chocolate for a fully vegan version.)
- 1 teaspoon flaky sea salt (Optional but recommended for a salty finish.)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together almond flour, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract until fully blended.
- Gently fold in chocolate chips into the mixture.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Press the mixture evenly into the lined sheet, creating a smooth layer about 1/2 inch thick.
- Melt the remaining chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second increments until smooth.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the pressed cookie dough mixture for an even coat.
- Sprinkle flaky sea salt on top if desired. Freeze for at least 1 hour.
- Once solidified, break the bark into pieces and serve.
