  • 1 tablespoon Miso or Nutritional Yeast (Optional for umami flavor)
  • to taste Chili Flakes or Cracked Pepper (Optional for heat)

Instructions

  1. Slice your cauliflower into thick steaks, or clean portobello mushrooms or use seitan.
  2. Preheat your skillet over medium-high heat and drizzle with oil.
  3. In a bowl, combine softened vegan butter with minced garlic and fresh herbs.
  4. Add your prepared steaks to the hot skillet and sear until golden.
  5. Place a dollop of garlic herb butter on each steak and let it melt.
