- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 4 large eggs
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup chopped strawberries
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix cake mix, eggs, oil, sour cream, brown sugar, and cinnamon until combined.
- Fold in chopped strawberries.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Cool the cake in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.
- For the icing, whisk together powdered sugar and heavy cream until smooth.
- Spread icing over cooled cake.
