Description

Enjoy this refreshing homemade peach lemonade, a perfect blend of sweet ripe peaches and tart lemon juice. It’s an easy-to-make, revitalizing drink ideal for summer gatherings or a simple treat.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.16 lbs ripe peaches, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 3 cups cold water or sparkling water
  • Optional: lemon slices, peach slices, fresh mint, ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Combine chopped peaches, sugar, and 2 cups of water in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 5–10 minutes until peaches soften.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool for 30 minutes.
  5. Strain through a fine mesh sieve to create peach syrup.
  6. In a pitcher, mix 1 cup peach syrup with lemon juice and 3 cups water or sparkling water.
  7. Stir well. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness as needed.
  8. Serve over ice with optional garnishes.

Notes

  • Peach syrup can be stored in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
  • Mixed peach lemonade stays fresh for 5–7 days in the fridge.
  • Leftover lemonade can be frozen into popsicles.
  • Repurpose leftover peach pulp into smoothies, baked goods, or jam.
