Description

Enjoy all the nostalgic flavors of classic s’mores in these gluten-free, dairy-free, and refined sugar-free Paleo Smores Bars.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 3/4 cup paleo dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup paleo marshmallows, cut into halves

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine almond flour, coconut flour, melted coconut oil, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and sea salt. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Press the dough evenly into the prepared pan to form the crust. Bake for 12-14 minutes until lightly golden.
  4. Remove the crust from the oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over the surface. Let them melt for 2-3 minutes, then spread with a spatula.
  5. Top with marshmallows in an even layer. Broil on high for 1-2 minutes until marshmallows are golden and toasty. Watch carefully to avoid burning.
  6. Cool completely, then slice into bars and serve.
