Instructions
- Select fresh rhubarb from your garden or local market. Look for vibrant, firm stalks, and discard any toxic leaves.
- Wash the rhubarb thoroughly under cool running water to remove any dirt. Pat dry with a clean kitchen towel.
- Trim any rough ends from the stalks. Slice the rhubarb into uniform pieces, about half an inch thick.
- Place the sliced rhubarb in a zip-top freezer bag. Press out as much air as possible before sealing.
- Lay the bag flat on a baking sheet and freeze it for at least four hours.
- Store your frozen rhubarb bag in the freezer, labeling it with the date.
