Description

Tender pork chops slow-cooked in a savory sauce with onions and mushrooms for a comforting, easy weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless pork chops
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 medium yellow onion, sliced
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Season the pork chops on both sides with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear pork chops for 2-3 minutes per side until lightly browned.
  3. Place sliced onions and mushrooms in the bottom of the crock pot.
  4. Arrange seared pork chops on top of the vegetables.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour the mixture over the pork chops.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, or until pork chops are tender and cooked through. Serve with your favorite sides.
