Description

Creamy Loaded Cheeseburger Alfredo Pasta is a comforting mashup of classic cheeseburger flavors and rich Alfredo pasta. This easy skillet dish features seasoned ground beef, sautéed vegetables, and a creamy cheese sauce, all topped with your favorite burger fixings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces penne or rotini pasta
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 celery stalks, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper, plus more for topping
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Optional toppings: Diced pickles, cooked bacon, sliced jalapeños, diced red onion, ketchup or mustard drizzle

Instructions

  1. Boil pasta in salted water according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium-high heat until browned. Drain fat if needed.
  3. Add onion, celery, and garlic to the skillet; sauté for 3–4 minutes until softened and fragrant.
  4. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and half the diced tomatoes. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  5. Push the beef mixture to one side of the skillet. Melt butter in the empty side, then pour in heavy cream. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth, creating the Alfredo sauce.
  7. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss to coat everything in the sauce.
  8. Stir in half the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses until melted and creamy.
  9. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar, mozzarella, and tomatoes on top of the pasta.
  10. Cover the skillet for 1–2 minutes to allow the cheese to melt.
  11. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and extra black pepper.
  12. Serve hot, adding your favorite burger toppings if desired.

Notes

  • Drain excess fat from the ground beef to prevent a greasy sauce.
  • Use any short pasta shape that you prefer.
  • Lighten the dish by using ground turkey and half-and-half instead of cream.
  • Add toppings like pickles, bacon, or jalapeños for an extra burger flavor.
  • For a browned cheese topping, finish the dish under the broiler for 2-3 minutes.
