Description
Cheesy Ground Beef Dip is a comforting and flavorful party favorite packed with beef, cheese, and spices.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb Lean Ground Beef
- 1 medium Jalapeño
- 1 medium Onion
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 1 cup Chicken Broth
- 1 cup Strained Tomato
- 1 tbsp Mustard
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
- 1 tsp Red Chili Pepper Flakes
- 1 tbsp Fresh Parsley
Instructions
- In a large pan over medium-high heat, add lean ground beef, diced jalapeño, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and cayenne. Cook until browned and crumbly, about 15 minutes.
- Stir in chicken broth, strained tomato, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring everything to a simmer and cook for 25 minutes until thickened, stirring occasionally.
- Layer half of the shredded cheddar into the beef mixture, pushing it down gently. Then top with the remaining cheese, so it’s gloriously gooey when melted.
- Transfer the pan under the broiler for about 5 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Garnish with red chili pepper flakes and chopped parsley for color. Serve hot, warm, or at room temperature with your favorite dippers.
