Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Line your baking sheets with silicone baking mats.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream the unsalted butter and granulated sugar together on medium speed for 3-4 minutes until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the large egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract until combined.
- Gradually mix in the all-purpose flour and salt until the dough just comes together.
- If desired, divide the dough and add gel food coloring to create colorful cookies.
- Fill your cookie press with the dough and press cookies onto the lined baking sheets.
- Decorate with sprinkles if using.
- Bake for 5-8 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 4-5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
