Description

  • Gel Food Coloring (optional)
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Line your baking sheets with silicone baking mats.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream the unsalted butter and granulated sugar together on medium speed for 3-4 minutes until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the large egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract until combined.
  4. Gradually mix in the all-purpose flour and salt until the dough just comes together.
  5. If desired, divide the dough and add gel food coloring to create colorful cookies.
  6. Fill your cookie press with the dough and press cookies onto the lined baking sheets.
  7. Decorate with sprinkles if using.
  8. Bake for 5-8 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 4-5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
