- 3/4 cup plain breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup yellow onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- For the Meatloaf Glaze:
- 1/3 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease a loaf pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and milk. Let the mixture soak for 2-3 minutes.
- Add ground turkey, onion, garlic, eggs, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, and thyme. Mix gently until just combined.
- Transfer the turkey mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and shape it into a loaf about 8×4 inches, or use a loaf pan. Smooth the top.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- While the loaf bakes, mix ketchup, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar for the glaze.
- Remove the meatloaf, spread the glaze evenly on top, and return to the oven for another 20-25 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
