- 2 cups Macaroni
- 1 cup Cheddar Cheese
- 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese
- 2 cups Milk
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 2 tablespoons Flour
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- ½ cup BBQ Sauce
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Cook in a skillet with olive oil for 6-7 minutes per side until cooked through. Shred the chicken.
- Cook macaroni in salted boiling water according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour until combined. Gradually pour in milk, garlic powder, and onion powder, whisking until the sauce thickens (about 3-4 minutes).
- Stir in cheddar and mozzarella cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add the shredded chicken and cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce. Mix in BBQ sauce until everything is coated.
- Serve hot, optionally drizzled with extra BBQ sauce and garnished with chopped herbs.
