Description

Savory Baked Za’atar Chicken Thighs with Creamy Tahini Bliss

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Tahini (Mix with water if too thick.)
  • 2 tablespoons Za’atar (Essential for authentic flavor.)
  • 2 tablespoons Red Wine Vinegar (Substitute with lemon juice for freshness.)
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice (Freshly squeezed is best.)
  • 3 cloves Garlic (Minced for potency.)
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt (Adjust according to taste.)
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper (Freshly cracked for flavor.)
  • 4 pieces Boneless, Skinless Chicken Thighs (Juicy and tender option.)
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley (For color and freshness.)
  • 2 pieces Lemon Wedges (Serve on the side.)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix tahini, za’atar, red wine vinegar, lemon juice, minced garlic, kosher salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  2. Reserve some marinade for later use, then add the boneless, skinless chicken thighs to the bowl. Coat thoroughly and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or overnight.
  3. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Arrange marinated chicken thighs on a lined baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, until cooked through.
  4. Drizzle reserved tahini sauce over baked chicken and garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges.

Notes

  • Adjust salt and pepper to your taste.
  • Marinating overnight enhances flavor.
  • Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
