- 8 chicken drumsticks
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Non-stick cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
- Pat the chicken drumsticks dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, marinate the drumsticks in buttermilk for at least 10 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, breadcrumbs, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Remove drumsticks from buttermilk, allowing excess to drip off. Coat each drumstick thoroughly in the flour mixture.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray. Arrange drumsticks in a single layer, leaving space between each piece.
- Air fry for 25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/74°C). Serve hot.
