Description

Elevate your breakfast with these irresistible Zesty Bacon Cream Cheese Bagels. A creamy, savory filling with crispy bacon bits baked into a warm bagel.


Ingredients

  • 4 sesame seed bagels
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices cooked bacon, cooled and chopped
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • Hot sauce, to taste (optional)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Fresh chives, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped cooked bacon, mayonnaise, sour cream, and hot sauce. Season with salt and pepper and mix until smooth.
  2. Carefully cut a thin slice from the bottom of each bagel. Hollow out the center gently, ensuring not to cut all the way through so they hold their shape.
  3. Divide the creamy spread evenly among the hollowed bagels, smoothing the tops to make them level.
  4. Place the filled bagels on a baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 190°C/375°F for 12-15 minutes until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
  5. Remove the bagels from the oven, and garnish with reserved bacon and freshly chopped chives. Serve hot.
