Description

Enjoy a vibrant Tamarind Mango Mocktail, a delightful blend of tropical flavors perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pieces Ripe Mangoes (peeled and diced)
  • 1 cup Tamarind Pulp (soaked in warm water)
  • 24 tablespoons Honey or Agave Syrup (to taste)
  • 2 cups Cold Water or Sparkling Water (sparkling enhances refreshment)
  • 1 cup Ice Cubes (crushed for texture)
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Mint Leaves (for garnish)
  • 1 pieces Lime Wedges (optional for extra zest)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Mango: Start by peeling and dicing the ripe mangoes into bite-sized pieces, ensuring you capture all that juicy sweetness in your mocktail.
  2. Soak the Tamarind: In a small bowl, mix the tamarind pulp with warm water and let it sit for about 5 minutes to soften and release its flavors.
  3. Extract Tamarind Juice: Gently mash the tamarind mixture to extract the liquid, straining out any solids so that only the flavorful juice remains.
  4. Blend Ingredients: In a blender, combine the diced mangoes, tamarind juice, honey or agave syrup, and cold or sparkling water. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  5. Adjust Sweetness: Taste the mixture and add more honey or agave as needed to reach your ideal level of sweetness; remember it may taste different when chilled.
  6. Serve Over Ice: Fill your favorite glasses with ice cubes, then pour the blended mixture over the ice for a refreshing, chilled drink.
  7. Garnish & Enjoy: Finish by topping each glass with fresh mint leaves and lime wedges for an extra touch of flavor and color. Stir gently, and serve immediately!
