Instructions
- Wash and hull the strawberries, then slice them.
- Mix strawberries with sugar and lemon juice; let sit for 10-15 minutes.
- Whisk cornstarch with water until smooth.
- Cook the strawberry mixture over medium heat until simmering, then add the cornstarch slurry while stirring.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until thickened, then cool before using.
