  • 6 pieces Chicken Thighs (bone-in and skin on)
  • 1/4 cup Ketchup
  • 1/4 cup Low Sodium Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 1 piece Lime (juiced)
  • 12 tablespoons Sriracha
  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • Sesame Seeds (optional)
  • Green Onions (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over high heat, add a splash of oil and allow it to warm up.
  2. Sear the chicken thighs for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. Once seared, gently place the chicken thighs into your slow cooker.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together ketchup, low sodium soy sauce, honey, lime juice, sriracha, and minced garlic until combined.
  5. Pour the sauce over the chicken in the slow cooker, ensuring each piece is coated.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours until the chicken is fork-tender.
  7. Serve garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired.
