- 4 lbs pork shoulder, boneless
- 1 tbsp ground cumin
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 large onion, diced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 orange, juiced
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Trim excess fat from the pork shoulder and cut into large chunks.
- Combine cumin, oregano, chili powder, salt, and pepper; rub all over pork pieces.
- Place pork in the slow cooker. Add diced onion, minced garlic, orange juice, lime juice, and chicken broth.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, or until pork is very tender and shreds easily with a fork.
- Shred pork with two forks. Optional: Broil shredded pork in the oven for 3-5 minutes for crispy edges.
- Serve warm in tacos, burritos, rice bowls, or with your favorite toppings.
