- 1 (30-32 oz) bag frozen shredded hash browns
- 8 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350ºF. Lightly spray a 9×13-inch pan with cooking spray.
- In a large skillet, cook the hot breakfast sausage over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
- Add the frozen shredded hash browns to the skillet and cook until lightly browned. Place the hash browns in the bottom of your greased baking pan.
- Layer the cooked sausage over the hash browns and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Pour this mixture evenly over the hash brown layer.
- Cover and refrigerate if baking later, or bake immediately.
- Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, or until set in the middle.
