Description
An easy ravioli lasagna bake is a quick and delicious twist on classic lasagna. It layers frozen ravioli, marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, and mozzarella for an effortless family dinner.

- 1 (25 oz) bag frozen cheese ravioli
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil (optional)
- Nonstick cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly coat a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Spread 1/2 cup of marinara sauce on the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Arrange half of the frozen cheese ravioli in a single layer over the sauce. Top with half of the remaining marinara sauce, dollop with ricotta cheese, and sprinkle with 1 cup mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat layers with the remaining ravioli, marinara sauce, ricotta, and mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle the top with grated Parmesan and dried Italian seasoning.
- Cover dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let stand for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped fresh basil, if desired.
Notes
- No need to thaw the ravioli—just layer them in straight from the freezer.
- For even cheesier layers, stir some shredded mozzarella into the ricotta.
- Try using your favorite store-bought marinara for even more flavor.
- Let the bake sit 10-15 minutes after baking so it slices cleanly.
