Description

Pemmican is an ancient Native American snack, perfect for a nutritious energy boost.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb rendered beef fat
  • 1 cup dried berries
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Shred the beef into thin strips for even drying.
  2. Dehydrate the shredded beef until completely dry, about 6 hours.
  3. Grind the dried beef into a fine powder.
  4. Mix powdered beef with rendered beef fat until cohesive.
  5. Add dried berries and salt, mixing evenly.
  6. Press mixture into a mold and let cool for 30 minutes.
  7. Cut into bites and store in an airtight container.
