- 1 lb ground beef
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 yellow onion, diced
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 14 oz can crushed tomatoes
- 32 oz chicken broth
- 1 cup water
- 2 tsp tomato paste
- 6 oz lasagna noodles, broken
- 1 cup frozen chopped spinach
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- For Serving: ricotta cheese
Instructions
- Brown ground beef in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add garlic and onion; sauté until softened.
- Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Add crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, water, and tomato paste; bring to a simmer.
- Incorporate lasagna noodles and spinach; cook until noodles are tender.
- Stir in heavy cream until well combined.
- Serve hot, topped with ricotta cheese.
