- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme or dried thyme (one-third amount)

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Peel and cut parsnips into uniform sticks.
- In a mixing bowl, combine parsnips with oil, maple syrup, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Spread on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Roast for 25-30 minutes, tossing halfway through until tender and caramelized.
- Serve warm, garnished with extra thyme if desired.
