Description

Juicy turkey burgers packed with jalapeños and sharp cheddar, topped with creamy guacamole and crispy fried onions.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, finely diced
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup crispy fried onions (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup guacamole
  • 4 hamburger buns, toasted
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, cheddar cheese, diced jalapeño, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into burger patties.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Cook the patties for 5-6 minutes per side, or until cooked through and golden brown.
  4. Lightly toast the hamburger buns while the burgers cook.
  5. Assemble the burgers by spreading guacamole on the bottom buns, topping with turkey patties, a generous layer of crispy onions, and the top buns.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
