Description

3-Ingredient Buttermilk Biscuits are fluffy, tender, and easy to make with just three simple ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 stick frozen butter (1/2 cup)
  • 1 cup cold buttermilk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add flour and grate frozen butter into it. Mix using a pastry cutter until crumbly.
  3. Pour in cold buttermilk and stir with a spatula until dough forms.
  4. Turn dough onto a floured surface and lightly knead it until slightly sticky.
  5. Fold the dough several times to create layers; then pat into a rectangle about 1 inch thick.
  6. Cut out biscuits using a biscuit cutter and place them on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 12-14 minutes or until golden brown. Brush with melted butter after baking.
