- 1 pound ground beef
- 6 oz cream cheese, softened
- 3 eggs
- 5 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: Shredded cheddar, mozzarella, or Parmesan cheese for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a casserole dish.
- Brown ground beef in a skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
- In a food processor, blend softened cream cheese with eggs until smooth.
- Mix the cream cheese blend into the browned beef.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté mushrooms. Add garlic if desired. Season with salt, pepper, and parsley.
- Spread the beef-cream mixture into the casserole dish. Top with sautéed mushrooms.
- If desired, add a layer of shredded cheese on top.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown and set.
- Let it rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.

- Use lean ground beef or substitute with ground turkey, chicken, or plant-based alternative.
- Warm the cream cheese before mixing for easier blending.
