Instructions
- Prepare Ingredients: Begin by dicing the ham and cutting the green beans into 1-inch pieces. Peel and dice the potatoes, and chop the onion and garlic.
- Layer in Crockpot: Place the diced ham at the bottom of your slow cooker, followed by layers of green beans, potatoes, onion, and garlic.
- Add Broth and Seasonings: Pour in 4 cups of broth until the ingredients are just submerged. Sprinkle in parsley, thyme, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Cook: Cover your crockpot and set it to cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the potatoes are tender.
- Adjust Seasoning: Once cooked, taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary before serving.
- Serve: Ladle into bowls and garnish with extra apple cider vinegar on the side.
