Description
Crispy potato pancakes stuffed with savory seasoned beef and melted cheese, pan-fried until golden and irresistible. Perfect for dinner, snacks, or meal prep.

- 4 cups grated potatoes
- 1 small onion, grated
- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1–2 tbsp oil for frying
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Cook the ground beef in a skillet until browned. Add onion and garlic and cook until softened. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme. Allow to cool slightly, then stir in shredded cheese.
- Grate potatoes and squeeze out excess moisture. Combine with grated onion, eggs, flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder to form a batter.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add a scoop of potato mixture and flatten. Place a spoonful of beef filling in the center. Add another thin layer of potatoes on top and seal the edges.
- Cook 3–4 minutes per side or until golden brown and crispy. Repeat with remaining mixture.
- Serve warm with sour cream or dipping sauce.
