Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Eggnog (Store-bought or homemade)
  • 3 large Eggs (Room temperature)
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon (Freshly ground is ideal)
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg (Adjust according to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons Dark Rum (Optional)
  • 8 slices Country-Style Bread (Day-old works best)
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter (For frying)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggnog, eggs, dark rum (if using), cinnamon, and nutmeg until smooth.
