Description

Tender pulled chicken slow-cooked in a tangy barbecue sauce, perfect for sandwiches, tacos, or on its own for a flavorful and easy dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together barbecue sauce, chicken broth, chopped onion, minced garlic, brown sugar, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the crockpot, making sure all pieces are well coated.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, or until the chicken is tender and easily shredded.
  5. Shred the chicken with two forks, mix it with the sauce, and serve hot on buns, tacos, or alongside your favorite sides.
