Description

A delightful Crispy Tater Tot Breakfast Casserole combining crispy tater tots, savory sausage, and gooey cheese for a comforting morning feast.


Ingredients

  • 32 oz Frozen Tater Tots
  • 1 lb Sausage
  • 6 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 tsp Kosher Salt
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Granulated Garlic
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1.5 cups Shredded Cheese
  • 0.5 cup Additional Shredded Cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter.
  2. Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium-high heat, crumbling it as it browns for about 5–7 minutes.
  3. Arrange the frozen tater tots evenly in the greased baking dish. Sprinkle the browned sausage over the tater tots, followed by 1½ cups of shredded cheese. Stir gently to combine.
  4. Whisk together the eggs, milk, kosher salt, black pepper, granulated garlic, and onion powder until smooth. Pour evenly over the tater tots and sausage layer.
  5. Top with the remaining ½ cup of shredded cheese.
  6. Bake covered with foil for 50 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes until set and golden brown.
