  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • For the swirl: 1/4 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mash bananas. Stir in melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg.
  3. Add baking soda, salt, and flour. Mix until combined.
  4. Stir in sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  5. Gradually pour in milk and mix until smooth.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. To make the swirl, mix 1/4 cup sugar with 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Sprinkle evenly over the batter.
  8. Use a knife to gently swirl the cinnamon-sugar mixture into the batter.
  9. Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  10. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
