Description

Capture the essence of the holiday season in a jar with this Christmas Jam.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cranberries
  • 1 orange, juiced and zested
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. In a pot, combine cranberries, orange juice, zest, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and water.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for about 15-20 minutes until cranberries burst and mixture thickens.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  5. Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
  6. Allow to cool completely before storing in the refrigerator.

  • Use it on toast, scones, or as part of a cheeseboard.
  • Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
