- 2 bags Earl Grey tea
- 1 cup Water
- 1 cup Cherries
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1–2 teaspoons Vanilla syrup
- 1 stick Cinnamon (Optional)
- Ice (Optional for iced version)
Instructions
- Simmer pitted and halved cherries in 1/2 cup of water for 3-5 minutes until softened. Add a cinnamon stick and steep for an additional 5 minutes.
- Boil another 1/2 cup of water and steep your Earl Grey tea for 3-5 minutes, then remove the tea bag or strain the leaves.
- Pour 1/2 cup of your chosen milk into the saucepan with the warm cherries. Heat gently, stirring until warmed through. Sweeten to taste with 1-2 teaspoons of vanilla syrup.
- In a cup, pour the brewed Earl Grey tea. Strain the warm milk and cherry mixture into the same cup, pressing on the cherries to extract their juice. Stir well to combine.
- Optionally, top your drink with foamed milk, fresh cherries, or a sprinkle of cinnamon.
